Facts about SEREVENT

•	JUST 2 DOSES A DAY: SEREVENT DISKUS is taken 1 inhalation twice a day, morning and evening — about 12 hours apart.

•	12-HOUR RELIEF: SEREVENT DISKUS lasts up to 12 hours. You can make it part of your daily routine — for example, when you brush your teeth, morning and evening.

•	SEREVENT DISKUS IMPROVES LUNG FUNCTION: SEREVENT DISKUS is an inhaled long-acting bronchodilator. SEREVENT DISKUS treats bronchoconstriction, also known as tightened airway muscles. When taken regularly, SEREVENT DISKUS can help keep your airways open and improve lung function.

•	Indicated for the maintenance treatment of bronchospasm associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) (including emphysema and chronic bronchitis).

That means SEREVENT DISKUS helps control the tightening in your chest that causes coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath. When taken regularly, SEREVENT DISKUS can help keep your airways open and improve lung function.

•	Indicated for maintenance treatment of asthma in patients 4 years of age and older.

•	Indicated for the prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm (EIB) in patients 4 years of age and older.

COPD Note:

SEREVENT DISKUS is indicated for long-term, twice-daily (morning and evening) administration in the maintenance treatment of bronchospasm
associated with COPD (including emphysema and chronic bronchitis).

You should not stop using SEREVENT DISKUS for COPD without consulting
your doctor, since symptoms may recur after stopping use.

Important information about SEREVENT
SEREVENT DISKUS does not replace fast-acting inhalers for sudden symptoms and should not be taken more than twice a day. In patients with asthma, medicines like SEREVENT may increase the chance of asthma-related death. Talk to your doctor about this risk and the benefits of treating your asthma with SEREVENT. SEREVENT should not be the only controller medicine prescribed for your asthma and is not a substitute for anti-inflammatory medications (inhaled or oral corticosteroids). Tell your doctor if you have a heart condition or high blood pressure. Some people may experience increased blood pressure, heart rate, or changes in heart rhythm. See your doctor if your asthma does not improve.
